Ok, so these are the last batch and you can see all 100+ photos that were taken during this trip in the Photography section of this site and these are some of my favorite photos from the trip…enjoy :)

I'll start with the last photo taken before landing in Costa Rica…oh before I go on let me just say that despite every airline out there saying that the airport is in San Jose, CR's capital, I'm sorry to break this to you but that's not true in fact you are like 30mins from San Jose, the airport is actually in Alajuela…ok back to our regular programming ^_^

This photo was taken while our plane was going around a thunderstorm, now this isn't the greatest photo in the world but I actually am happy that it even came out like it did since I wasn't really expecting anything to come out.

The storm outside

This was a long exposure and there was turbulance so that's why you see the wing like that. The blue on the back…yup you guessed it…it's lightning and at certain points you could actually see the lightning volt. So lets recap on my trip to Taiwan the pilot had to push the engines to abort the landing since he was comming in too fast and had to circle the airport again, on my trip to New York the landing was rough because of the high speed winds that night and everyone in the plane applauded once we had landed and finally we have the flying near a thunderstorm…so those are the experiences on flights that I find quite interesting. My dad told me that on one of his flights the airplane engines powered down in mid flight, luckily the pilot managed to power them back on.

Well that's taking quite a long time to accomplish and I appear to be getting better with my photograph taking skills since I have less missed shots ;)

One of the reasons for my delay on processing the photos is because I've been busy setting up my file server, if you've been following this blog you might have noticed my posts on OpenFiler, but I've taken some time to continue processing the photos.

This isn't the plane we took…well because if it was then I would have missed it…but the shot is one of my favorites

I don't have a tilt/shift lens so I used the f/zero from Boutwell's Totally Rad Actions to accomplish this effect

Look at the little people…hehe

My trip to Cincinnati is really coming to an end real fast and one photo I wanted to get was of the city at night so I decided to leave my hotel room and take a walk to Newport so that I could setup my tripod and take that shot that has probably been taken many times before.

I left the hotel early so that I could walk across the bridge but plans were changed after I found myself at the football stadium…so yeah I took a wrong turn…ok…maybe two wrong turns. So I walked to the middle of the Bailey Bridge to take a shot of the city and then walked back to head across the Roebling Suspension Bridge for the photo that I wanted…and that is a huge walk but still worth it.
