Ok, so these are the last batch and you can see all 100+ photos that were taken during this trip in the Photography section of this site and these are some of my favorite photos from the trip…enjoy
I’ll start with the last photo taken before landing in Costa Rica…oh before I go on let me just say that despite every airline out there saying that the airport is in San Jose, CR’s capital, I’m sorry to break this to you but that’s not true in fact you are like 30mins from San Jose, the airport is actually in Alajuela…ok back to our regular programming ^_^
This photo was taken while our plane was going around a thunderstorm, now this isn’t the greatest photo in the world but I actually am happy that it even came out like it did since I wasn’t really expecting anything to come out.
This was a long exposure and there was turbulance so that’s why you see the wing like that. The blue on the back…yup you guessed it…it’s lightning and at certain points you could actually see the lightning volt. So lets recap on my trip to Taiwan the pilot had to push the engines to abort the landing since he was comming in too fast and had to circle the airport again, on my trip to New York the landing was rough because of the high speed winds that night and everyone in the plane applauded once we had landed and finally we have the flying near a thunderstorm…so those are the experiences on flights that I find quite interesting. My dad told me that on one of his flights the airplane engines powered down in mid flight, luckily the pilot managed to power them back on.
The girl that was sitting in front of me slept most of the flight and I liked this shot she’s from Utah and I spoked with her and her friend after we landed and they were really nice. They’re in CR to learn Spanish and came all the way down from Utah…they said that it’s a place where there is the best snow in the US…first time I’ve heard of that.
Ok…so I really liked the effect the sun causes when photographed…no worries I have an UV filter so everything is ok…I hope. Oh yeah…this is on the Dallas airport while waiting to board the plane and for my laptop to charge on the only power outlet around.
I really love how this photo came out
I walked so much that night and it was sure worth it. The photo below was also taken that night but from the other bridge, the one that connects Cincinnati with Covington, this was on my way to the other bridge that connects Cincinnati with Newport.
The sunset was just great…maybe not the greatest ever…but it was pretty amazing to photograph
Well that pretty much sums this trip up…I can’t wait for my next trip to take some more photos
