There were a total of 214 photos uploaded to the Costa Rica Photowalk Flickr group and I had to go through all of them to chose one photo which would win the copy of Scott’s book. The decision wasn’t easy as there are some great photos that were uploaded so I spoke with my family and friends that are into photography to get their opinion and help me decide.
Other groups had it more difficult with some groups having around one thousand photos being posted. I proceeded to choose a photo that would just catch my attention and have a lot to say. After going through the photos it all came down to a photo by George Adams that shows two women sitting in a bench and in that photo it does a great job in capturing their emotion.

I would like to congratulate George for doing a great job on taking this photo and other photos as well. He’s an amateur photographer that began not long ago this journey into photography and he mentions that this is not as easy as it looks and that taking a snapshot is easy but taking a photograph takes considerably more knowledge.
The camera he used to capture this shot is a Canon EOS 40D with a 400mm lens at f/5.6 and 1/200th of a second.
I would also like to congratulate and encourage those that also participated in the activity to continue taking photographs so that they can become better in this area.
