For years I have loved the “Arepas” that my mom has made, the same recipe that was used by her grandma when she was a child, but the Costarican “Arepa” appears to be forgotten even by it’s own people and a search on the Internet for this recipe returns pages after pages of “Arepas” from southern American countries. I’ll have to talk a little about it so that the Costarican “Arepa” doesn’t disappear.

I started with a basic TDMA phone, yes it was old and a huge brick, but unfortunately it’s what works best in Costa Rica and then bought another Motorola phone, again it was a TDMA, and finally moved to GSM. So far I haven’t found a phone that I can definitely say that it’s The Phone but there have been some phones which I like a lot.

Should schools be monitoring kids outside school hours?
I recently came upon a post on slashdot which talked about UK schools beginning to monitor social sites, such as Facebook and MySpace, and confiscating cellphones in order to control what is referred to as cyber-bullying. The question that comes to my mind is simple, well it might actually be a bit more complex, are schools supposed to monitor and punish the students because of what they do outside of their school hours?
