A lot has happened since last year and, like they say, time flies. It has been one year since I began working and have grown to love what I do, it’s almost a year since my younger sister left for Taiwan to study Physics.
Last week we celebrated our one year for working in the company, this because hiring occurs in large groups and therefore the one year mark is celebrated. Since then I have gone from the lower level, where I’m just another worker, to being a technical mentor to being a trainer for the new group that will be hired soon. So far I love my job and don’t plan to leave any time soon. Before that training occurs, I will be sent to the US to take trainings to better enhance my knowledge in the area of Tape storage.
My sister celebrates her one year mark this August and my family will be going over to spend some time with her, unfortunately I won’t be able to go with them because of my work, this is one of the negative things that I see with work. This trip was planned a couple of months ago and because everything moves and changes so fast I won’t be able to go to Taiwan this year, but hopefully I will be able to go next year when my sister is in vacations.
So, for this year, I will be traveling to the US for two weeks, and I’ll take a lot of pictures on that trip.

But I wasn’t going to start building the next big program, so I’ll give it a try. And to be honest with you it blew my mind away.
