The team on a road trip

After working most of the day and part of the night on thursday we planned a road trip on the weekend so we would get away from the computer and coding. Other than the sun burn I have right now and getting lost for a while, we had fun and it was a great weekend. Hope to have more road trips like this one, well except for the sun burn part, which sucks.

Hugo, Melissa, Luis [ME], Fabian, Patricia

Yesterday we, the team, decided to change the routine, we got out of the house and took a road trip. We went to a public place with thermal waters that are obtained from a nearby volcano. They have a warm water and cold water pools, most people prefer the warm water one.

We had planned on leaving at 8am, but Hugo forgot and woke up at 7:45am and since he’s the one that drives and has the car, well we couldn’t leave without him. So finally he arrived at my house a little past 8:30am, along with his family. After that we went to pick up Fabian and his girlfriend so we could finally get on out way.

We arrived at the pool place, called “Los Patios”, at around 10:30am. We spent our time talking about stuff, like the university. Hugo and Fabian played basketball along with other people, I’m not much of an athlete, so I didn’t play with them. After eating we picked up everything and went into the warm water pool, it wasn’t my favorite, since you fell warm when you’re in the pool but once you get out of there you feel cold. After changing our clothes we got out of there, we spent most of the day there and like usual I got a sun burn which hurts :(.
After we got out of there we went to water dam that was close by.

After missing our exit for about 5 miles, we thought that we needed to ask for directions. It seems that the place is a tourist attraction, since there are a lot of people putting up BBQs and selling meat and other items near the bridge where that picture was taken. The bridge vibrates a lot when cars pass by, which is kind of scary, imagine the whole thing coming down when a car passes and your there, it’s quite a fall.

We took a couple of pictures there, like the ones above, and finally decided that it was time to head back home. We’ll take more of these road trips which are fun.
